More hospitals are trying Apple HealthKit than Google Fit

"Apple is moving its health care products into hospitals far faster than rivals Google and Samsung, claims a new report from Reuters. The news agency says that 14 of the 23 top hospitals it contacted were already trialling pilot programs with Apple’s HealthKit service to monitor chronic conditions such as diabetes and hypertension. Google and Samsung, meanwhile, were reportedly only beginning talks to secure partners for their own health-monitoring systems, Google Fit and S Health. Reuters added that doctors were especially "eager" to try Google Fit."

With Apple's new "Health" platform, e may have just witnessed the birth of an ecosystem that follows a similar model to that of iTunes.

There are lots of questions which remain to be clarified. Anyhow, it is just exciting !

1/ how will Apple define his 3rd party approval process regarding to the FDA Mobile Health clearance ? Will it be mandatory or not ? Nike Fuel is not a Medical device as I know.

2/ Will Apple  point out in Health UI the  difference between Health App and Fitness-Wellbeing ones ?  I attended  Craig presentation at WWDC on Monday ; didn't he make a difference between HealthKit (as a 3rd Party aggregator), and Health as a Medical-Linked Service related to Mayo Clinic ?

3/ Regarding the Dashboard, the challenge will be to design an UI which offer enough granularity and sensible relationship between Datas to make them insightful for the end-user.  I love this challenge, and I am impatient to get into it !
