Exchanges and mobility in sport
nicoleta susanu's insight:

The general objective of this action is to give the opportunity to staff of sport organisations (athletes entourage) to improve their competences as well as qualifications and acquire new skills through learning mobility by spending a period of time in a foreign country (in and outside of the EU).

Learning mobility should be seen as an investment in human capital and a contribution to the capacity building of various sport organisations.

Opportunities for learning mobility in this context should be addressed to:

  • Coaches and other 'staff’ of sport organisations (including volunteers) – linked to professional sport;
  • Coaches and other 'staff’ of sport organisations (including volunteers) – linked to grassroots

2018 Erasmus+ Vocational Education and Training Mobility Charter | Erasmus+

2018 Erasmus+ Vocational Education and Training Mobility Charter | Erasmus+ | EU FUNDING OPPORTUNITIES AND PROJECT MANAGEMENT TIPS | Scoop.it
nicoleta susanu's insight:

The Erasmus+ VET Mobility Charter is intended to encourage organisations that have track records of proven quality in organising VET mobility for learners and staff to further develop their European internationalisation strategies. European
internationalisation means supporting learning in another Erasmus+ Programme country by embedding high quality mobility activities into curricula, as well as developing international approaches throughout the sending organisation, for example by networking with bodies in other countries, promoting the learning of foreign languages and looking beyond national VET approaches. The internationalisation process should result in improved capacity of sending organisations to organise mobility for learners and staff, whilst at the same time rewarding, promoting and further developing the quality of learning mobility.

Eligible participants

A participating organisation can be:
- any public or private organisation (or its subsidiary/branch) active in the field of vocational education and training (referred to as a VET provider); or
- any public or private organisation active in the labour market (referred to as a company)

H2020 call for proposal: Understanding migration mobility patterns: elaborating mid and long-term migration scenarios

H2020 call for proposal: Understanding migration mobility patterns: elaborating mid and long-term migration scenarios | EU FUNDING OPPORTUNITIES AND PROJECT MANAGEMENT TIPS | Scoop.it
Research Participant Portal is your entry point for electronic administration of EU-funded research and innovation projects
nicoleta susanu's insight:

Specific Challenge:

Global migration is growing in scope, complexity and diversity, which requires better preparedness and responses. A deeper understanding of the drivers of migration and of their interrelation with people’s propensity to migrate is needed as well as projections and scenarios that are essential for appropriate planning and effective policymaking.

Scope:

Patterns, motivations and modalities of migration should be explored, with a focus on new geographies and temporalities. This may include among others the changing nature of flows and factors such as international demand for and supply of labour, sector policies in countries of origin and destination, aging population in industrialised countries, demographic trends in countries of origin, migration propensity, transnational networks, the impact of corruption, shifting representations of Europe, temporary migration and return (both voluntary and forced) and forced movements linked to conflicts, environment-related threats, other relevant geopolitical factors, international development and regional policies, as well as livelihood opportunities (e.g. inequalities, income levels, poor job opportunities, working conditions, traditional gender roles).

The involvement of refugee and migrant scholars and scientists from relevant backgrounds and disciplines is strongly encouraged.
